The ABC kicks off a four part series on the Howard Years tonight. They are billing it as a behind the scenes, no spin, confessional examination of the legacy of Howard’s reign. Howard reportedly gave the producers 200 hours! Howard gets the power of the electronic media. Don’t expect him to take a step back in defending his reign. I think silence would be more dignified – let others judge his years, keep commentary to the commentators, don’t protest your innocence too much!
There is after all a far weightier judgement that awaits us all, one in which the judge will see into our very heart. You can read about it in the Book of Proverbs Chapter 16 verse 2:
All a man’s ways seem innocent to him, but motives are weighed by the Lord.
